As of a few days ago, OpenAI launched its latest round of updates that include custom GPTs that have potentially offered greater opportunity for users to do what they are meant to do, be creative. In this blog post, we'll explore what custom GPTs are, their benefits, and how they can enhance your digital marketing strategies.
What are OpenAI CustomGPTs?
Custom GPTs are new to ChatGPT4 and are a feature from OpenAI that allows users to use pre-established GPTs, User-built GPTs, or to create their own custom GPT model. It is similar to the update made in July called Custom Instructions, but according to OpenAI, the community wanted greater control and capability so they launched Custom GPTs as a follow-up to community feedback.
CustomGPTs are only available to ChatGPT4 users and are available with the new update being rolled out to ChatGPT4 users. In the video below I share with you where you can find the 16 GPTs within the current interface and highlight the 'Create a CustomGPT' function, which I am most excited about - and talk about a bit more below.
Potential Benefits of CustomGPTs for Personal & Professional Use:
From what I have been able to gather from OpenAI documentation, and in my limited experience using some of the 16 current customGPTs, is that they are very effective when used for a specific purpose or intent. Examples of GPTs today include Canva and Zapier AI Actions - with more expected to be coming soon. CustomGPTs offer significant advantages for personal development and professional growth and below we outline some of those advantages.
Create Your CustomGPT: No coding is required, you can create customGPTs based on your business, yourself, or relative to what you want an AI assistant for. Note: As of 11/8/2023 I do not have access to this feature yet, but the one I am MOST excited for.
